About this site
My grandma, who I always called Grami, passed away in July 2022. She was almost 100 years old—full of stories, wisdom, and a quiet kind of magic that you only notice when it’s gone. I miss her more than I can put into words.
One thing that always stuck with me about Grami was her practicality. She had a lifetime of experience tucked into her brain—tips, tricks, and little life hacks for everyday problems. Some of them sounded weird or old-fashioned at first, but I’ll be honest… they worked. Better than the expensive, name-brand products that promise the world but rarely deliver. (Yes, I’m looking at you, chemical cleaners.)
I started this newsletter because I want to share a bit of Grami with the world. Every week, I’ll send out a small dose of practical, no-nonsense household wisdom, things that save time, save money, and often just make life a little easier. Most are old-fashioned tricks she swore by, some are modern takes on what she taught me, but all of them carry a little piece of her legacy.
If you like the idea of learning clever, surprisingly effective life hacks—and maybe feeling a little closer to the wisdom of past generations—I hope you’ll subscribe. It’s completely free, and it’s my way of keeping Grami’s spirit alive, one tip at a time.
